A-Rod Sons Agent
After playing the market and coming back down to reality, it seems Alex Rodriguez is on the verge of locking up a 10-year, $270 million deal that will see him in Yankee pinstripes for the rest of his career.
The illest part of this deal is that A-Rod took the wifepiece to Hank Steinbrenner's crib in Tampa on Wednesday and essentially worked the deal on his own. After this, Rodriguez released a statment stating, "After spending time with Cynthia and my family over these last few weeks, it became clear to me that I needed to make an attempt to engage the Yankees regarding my future with the organization." This roughly translates to "I'm like a seed at a birthday party: all I want is cake."
No word yet on whether or not A-Rod's soul was included in the deal.
