NEWARK, Ohio -- A Licking County teenager was arrested this week and charged with giving marijuana to a toddler. Angel Dailey, 16, pleaded not guilty to two delinquency counts of corrupting another with drugs and one charge of child endangerment.
Dailey is the daughter of a Licking County man arrested in March during a drug raid at his Pataskala home, according to an assistant prosecutor.
The DEA stepped in because of his possible connection to the case against Dailey's father, Donald Dailey. Oswalt said no local charges will be filed against the 18-year-old if corresponding federal charges are filed.
Donald Dailey was arrested in March after federal investigators pulled out $3.2 million in cash from the walls of his home at 6397 Watkins Rd. Authorities carried out 2,100 pounds of marijuana from a trailer parked in the driveway. Donald Dailey's brother, Tim Dailey, also was arrested.
DMX arrested again this week.
Arizona police officers showed up to his house with warrants for seven misdemeanor counts of animal cruelty and four felony drug possession charges.
X originally barricaded himself in his bedroom.
Police found drugs, weapons and pitbulls.

There was a Sean Bell protest the other day blocking the entrance to the Holland Tunnel....We watched from our office window.
The Riott police came out to say what up
People were interlocking arms and stopping the cars from entering the tunnel....i have mixed feelings on this....I think the Sen Bell situation is FUCKED UP!.....and i think those cops should go to jail....but blocking the tunnel while hard working people are commuting home at 5 o'clock is bullshit. Like go rally in front of the police station or a government building but interrupting innocent peoples lives is bullshit.
people in their cars were gettin pissed off and started driving towards the protesters...look how close the people are to the cars....feel bad for home boy in the Audi people were yellin in his face.
So people protested and wouldn't get out of the entrance to the tunnel so they got locked....i seen the cops put cuffs on about 15 people...they brought out the wagon. This system is so messed up its hard to address....all i can say is i give credit to those willing to be arrested for there beliefs....i dont agree with blocking traffic but it is a noble thing to do none the less.
HAHAHAHAHAHA....these idiots posted themselves smokin salvia on youtube and because it got so much attention they are making the current legal sale of the salvia illegal.
jerkoff....who the f@$k smokes salvia anyway.
PHILADELPHIA — More than a dozen police officers will be taken off the street as authorities investigate a video showing three suspects being kicked, punched and beaten after they were pulled out of a car during a traffic stop, the mayor's office said.
"At a glance it does appear to be a bit beyond the pale," said Doug Oliver, a spokesman for Mayor Michael Nutter. "Officers are not allowed to operate outside of the law."
The police department believes about 15 officers were involved in Monday night's arrests in the city's Hunting Park section, where police had been investigating a triple shooting, Oliver said. Some have already been taken off the street, while others still need to be identified, he said.
The three suspects were charged with criminal conspiracy, aggravated assault, simple assault and reckless endangerment, according to court officials.
Click here for a reaction from mothers of beating victims.
The video, shot by a WTXF-TV helicopter, shows three police cars stopping a car on the side of a road. About a dozen officers gather around the vehicle and pull three men out. About a half-dozen officers hold two of the men on the ground on the driver's side. Both are kicked repeatedly, while one is seen being punched; one also appears to be struck with a baton.
On the other side of the car, another group of officers can be seen kicking a third man who ends up on the ground.
Oliver said that, while the use of force appeared excessive, the public should withhold judgment until all the facts are known.
"We are not going to prejudge the situation based on the video," he said. "We all saw the video, but none of us was there."
Oliver initially said 15 officers had been taken off the street Wednesday. He later said about 15 officers were at the scene, but that the exact number identified and already off the street was unclear.
"One way or the other, everyone associated with this will be taken off the street," Oliver said. "The officers involved in this incident will be reassigned."
A message left with Lt. Frank Vanore, a police spokesman, was not immediately returned Wednesday morning.
The beating happened two days after the fatal shooting of a Philadelphia policeman, the third city officer slain on duty in two years.
Officer Stephen Liczbinski was shot with an assault rifle after a robbery in the city's Port Richmond section on Saturday. One man was fatally shot by police after the shooting, another was arrested Sunday and a third remains on the lam.

A bank employee inspecting a foreclosed house in Fontana stumbled upon a thriving business: more than 2,000 mature marijuana plants, part of a drug bust valued at $4.5 million...
San Diego - SAN DIEGO — Ninety-six students, local gang members and others were arrested Tuesday in a massive drug raid at San Diego State University.
Four pounds of cocaine, 50 pounds of marijuana, 48 hydroponic marijuana plants, 350 ecstasy pills, psilocybin (mushrooms), 30 vials of hash oil, methamphetamines, various illicit prescription drugs, one shotgun, three semi-automatic pistols, three brass knuckles and $60,000 in cash were seized.
Drugs including cocaine, ecstasy, marijuana and methamphetamines were confiscated in the sting, which came as the result of a months-long undercover operation, according to officials with the San Diego County District Attorney's Office and the federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

Many of the students arrested were members of the Theta Chi and Phi Kappa Psi fraternities. One of the gang members taken into custody allegedly has ties to Mexican drug cartels.
The DEA said a member of the Theta Chi fraternity sent out a mass text message to his "faithful customers" stating that he and his "associates" would be unable to sell cocaine while they were in Las Vegas over one weekend.
In addition to large quantities of narcotics, money and weapons were also seized from sellers and buyers in the bust.
Authorities confiscated two kilograms of cocaine, about 350 ecstasy pills, marijuana, psychedelic mushrooms, hash oil, methamphetamines and illicit prescription drugs, as well as several guns and at least $60,000 in cash.

Undercover officers in "Operation Sudden Fall," as it was called, conducted more than 130 drug purchases with sellers, authorities said.
Officials said they were surprised by the sophistication of the campus smuggling and trafficking network.
Several of the 96 defendants — 75 of whom are students — were appearing in state court to face charges Tuesday afternoon.
Eighteen of the students were arrested Tuesday when nine search warrants were executed at various locations, among them fraternities.
The undercover sting was spawned by the drug-overdose death of a college student last year.

At the WaMu Theater at Madison Square Garden Wednesday night, Chris Rock brought his A-game, even if we'd already read most of his good lines in recent profiles. Here are the best of the rest:
1. Calling for a hit on Flavor Flav: "He needs to be killed. Flavor Flav must be killed. I'm serious" — because he worries that Republican operatives will try to use Flav to bring down Obama. "Would you vote for somebody who has anything in common with Flav?"
2. On his neighbors: "[My only three black neighbors are] Mary J. Blige, one of the greatest singers of all time, Denzel Washington, one of the greatest actors of all time, and Jay-Z, one of the greatest rappers of all time." His white neighbor? "A dentist. And he isn't like the greatest dentist in history either. I had to host the Oscars to get that house — a black dentist in my neighborhood would have to invent teeth."
3. On John McCain: "We don't need a president with a bucket list. Who's going to be his VP? A nurse?"
4. On Clinton's experience: "My wife, we've been married 10 years, but if she got on stage now, y'all wouldn't laugh at all."
5. On Obama: "We've never seen a black man so cool — that wasn't in the music business..." ...and Reverend Wright: "Have you ever met a 75-year-old black man in this country that wasn't angry? I mean, they have a few reasons."
6. On voting: "They don't want you to vote. If they did, we wouldn't vote on a Tuesday. In November. You ever throw a party on a Tuesday? No. Because nobody would come."
"In 2006, a book by sociologist Luiz Eduardo Soares and one BOPE officer and a former policeman, Major André Batista and Captain Rodrigo Pimentel, provided a semi-fictional account of the daily routine of the BOPE as well as some historical events, based on the experiences of the latter two. The book was controversial at the time of release, and reportedly resulted in Batista being reprimanded and censured by the Military Police. The book was controversial in its description of the BOPE as a "killing machine", as well as detailing an alleged aborted assassination attempt by some police officers on then-governor Leonel Brizola. The book has been made into a movie, Tropa de Elite, directed by José Padilha (the director of Bus 174), with a screenplay by Academy Award-nominated screenwriter Bráulio Mantovani."
This movie makes City of God look like a walk in the park. Elite squad is the best movie ever made, I dare you to challenge. BOPE

There’s a new Jay-Z track up at America’s No. 1 source of news about today’s hottest hip-hop and R&B (Kanye West’s blog). Apparently a freestyle, it’s recorded over the beat from Too Short’s “Blow the Whistle.” Though no target is named, the track is clearly aimed at Washington Wizards shooting guard DeShawn Stevenson and rapper Soulja Boy. What? Yes. It all started when Stevenson started talking jive about Jay-Z’s main man LeBron James, whose Cavaliers are currently taking on the Wizards in a first-round playoff series. LeBron responded that such a move was like Soulja Boy taking on Jay-Z, which prompted Stevenson to invite Mr. Boy himself to game three of the series in D.C. Jay then responded with the track, which was played Friday in a D.C. club and hit the Internet yesterday.
As a track, it’s not much; there are some decent if vague lines — “We [that’s Jay and LeBron] let the money do the talkin’ / And as you see, we talk rather often” — but since Jay refuses to actually mention whom he’s talking about because he thinks he’s above it, there’s none of the hilariously personal cutting-down that makes a dis track a dis track. It's too generic to be memorable, but we nonetheless appreciate it if simply for the fact that Jay-Z's catalogue now includes an entire song about a semi-obscure player for the Washington Wizards. It's an entirely new category of music: the Novelty Beef. —Ben Mathis-Lilley

Police busted nearly 400,000 people for carrying small amounts of pot in the last decade, making New York City the world leader in marijuana arrests, civil rights advocates said yesterday while unveiling a study criticizing the war on drugs. Police officials countered by saying the report was flawed and misleading. The study by Queens College sociologist Harry G. Levin titled " Marijuana Arrest Crusade" accused police of targeting minorities.

As the service ends, and as the many who've come to remember two-time NBA All-Star Jimmy Walker exit the Kansas City funeral home, Jalen Rose remains seated, his head partially bowed, his emotions visibly scrambled.
He is closest to the podium, where a steady stream of family and friends -- representing Walker's 63 years of life -- sang his father's praises moments before.
![]()
Rose, had he stood to speak, would have represented Walker's athletic gene. Had he addressed the crowd, Rose could have bragged about how for a long time the two were the top father/son scoring duo in NCAA Division I history, or boasted about how they are the only father and son tandem to each score over 10,000 points in their NBA careers.
Rose, however, sat silent.
Rose, however, sat silent.
His bewildered state is for good reason. Unlike the nearly 100 people gathered, Rose never knew Walker. Never even met him.
So this funeral on this July afternoon represents the first time Rose and Walker have shared the same room. Yet even now in Walker's death, Rose is unable to set eyes on the man who gave him life. Walker, his body ravaged by lung cancer, has been cremated. Rose is able to look only at a photograph of Walker perched next to an urn.
Later, at a gathering of Walker's family and friends, Rose is asked about his earlier moment of silent reflection.
"I was hurt, saddened, and selfishly disappointed that we never got a chance to meet," says Rose, who then lowers his head and closes his eyes. "You want to know something? We were supposed to meet this month, we were supposed to meet this month."
A whistle stops play during an early evening game at Detroit's famous St. Cecilia's gym, and an animated Rose leaps to his feet. Rose, a summer-league coach, gently rests his hands on the shoulders of one his players and offers words of encouragement. Dott Wilson, who for decades has been involved with the summer league, looks on and smiles.
"Just like Jimmy Walker," says Wilson. "It's amazing how neither [Jimmy nor Jalen] hesitated to reach out to the youngsters."
After his team loses, Rose leads the squad downstairs for a postgame pep talk. As the team disbands, Rose opens a side door, which opens to a darkened, cluttered office. "This is the place where I really learned who I was," he says.
He learned this particular lesson 22 years ago from the late Sam Washington, who was the director of St. Cecilia. Tired of Rose's constant goofing off in a sixth-grade class, Washington led him to the basement office. Clicking off the lights, he fed a reel into a projector and played highlights of Walker -- a solidly built shooting guard who reminded many of Oscar Robertson -- on the wall.
"That's your father," he told Rose, who sat mesmerized by the footage. "You have the same potential to be very special."
I was hurt, saddened, and selfishly disappointed that we never got a chance to meet," says Rose, who then lowers his
